AS I LAY DYING Forced To Pull Out Of Kentucky's ICHTHUS FESTIVAL

San Diego, California metallers AS I LAY DYING have issued the following update:

"Due to an unforeseen family emergency, we regret to inform you that we have no choice but to cancel our performance this Friday, June 13 at Ichthus Festival in Wilmore, Kentucky. We apologize to our fans who expected to see us and we hope to have an opportunity to make it up to you in the near future. Thank you for your understanding in this difficult time."

"Within Destruction", the latest video from AS I LAY DYING, can be viewed below. The clip was filmed by director Jerry Clubb at the band's sold-out February 1, 2008 show at the Slowdown in Omaha, Nebraska and captures the group's sheer ferocity as a live act.

AS I LAY DYING received a Grammy nomination in the "Best Metal Performance" category for "Nothing Left", the first single from the band's newest release, "An Ocean Between Us".
